Support Link

Support Link is for teens who are

  • Between the ages of 16-18
  • Presently in government care
  • Have the basic skills needed to live independently
  • Have no chronic drug or alcohol problems

Along with Support Link housing, participants will have access to:

  • Five hours a week of one-on-one time with a support worker
  • Weekly workshops designed to improve the participant’s independence, self-care and life skills
  • Connections to job sources and pre-employment training programs
  • Life skills training, cultural teachings, and personal health programs
  • Help understanding landlord/tenancy rights and issues; banking and budgeting
  • An annual ski trip and an annual summer trip
  • Supportive connections, community and continuity through Aunt Leah’s friendly workers and peers in the programs
