Help build a brighter future for foster kids
Making a Real Impact in Your Local Communities
There are countless ways you can make an impact on the lives of local youth in care and mothers in need. Have a great idea? We want to hear it. Want to volunteer? We can use the extra hand. Bring your potential to us and together we can build a brighter future for foster kids.
Plan a Fundraiser
Our supporters have done some pretty amazing things to raise money for youth from care, moms & babies. And they’re thinking of new things to do every day. What will you do?
Volunteer
Volunteers are critical to the success of our programs and to the lives of the young people we serve. Learn how you can get involved in one of our events, fundraisers or social enterprises.

Host an Event
Hosting a fundraiser is a fun way to support youth in foster care and young mothers in need. Show your support by putting your own ideas to work. If you are interested in hosting an event, please contact Lourdes Perez de Lara at [email protected]
Host Housing
Securing safe housing is one of the greatest challenges for youth as they transition out of care. You can help ease this transition by renting a suite to one of our program participants. The program couples immediate access to housing, with the continued care of a support worker who monitors the participant’s social progress and helps guide them to a better future.
Volunteer at a Tree Lot
Have fun volunteering this Christmas to raise funds for youth in care and moms in need. We will have lots open in Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam this season.
Leave a Gift in your Will
Leave a legacy of hope. You can make a tangible difference in the future of Aunt Leah’s youth by arranging a gift in your will. Your generosity lets us continue helping vulnerable youth and young mothers make positive steps into the future.

Donate A Car
Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Aunt Leah’s Independent Lifeskills Society. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Aunt Leah’s Independent Lifeskills Society through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Aunt Leah’s Independent Lifeskills Society to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.
