The Support Link Program is designed to provide lifeskills to youth
who are preparing for independent living. Support Link program
offers basement suites to youth that are 15 - 18 years of age
who are presently in the care of the Ministry for Child and Family
Development, and who are preparing to make the transition to independent
living.

ELIGIBILITY
FOR THE PROGRAM:
- In the care of
the Ministry for Child & Family Development
- Able to live unsupervised
- Attending or willing
to attend a day program 12-20 hours per week
- No current criminal
involvement
- No chronic drug
or alcohol problems

SUPPORT
LINK REQUIREMENTS:
- Attendance in
day program (may be available through Aunt Leah's)
- No guests in suite
between 11:00 pm-11:00 am
- No drugs or alcohol
in suite
- Meet twice a week
with a support worker as directed
- Attendance at
Lifeskills Workshops (ILFFY)

The core funding for this program
is provided by the Ministry for Child and Family Development.
A special thanks to our individual donors for their contributions
which have allowed us to enhance this program in areas where funding
is not provided by the ministry, including Christmas and Birthday
celebrations, and recreation outings, just to name a few.
