The Restaurant Training Program is a 20-week program available to youth (ages 13-18) and adults (ages 19+). Students must commit to four hours of work experience per week and attend the scheduled certificate programs.
The work experience and certificate programs provide participants with personal management skills and other employment related lifeskills through personal assessment, discussion and a proactive evaluation approach. This program offers nationally and provincially recognized accreditation and training.
Throughout the program students will receive actual "hands on" training at a Food Service Industry Site. Students will learn general kitchen procedures, bussing, table service training and customer service skills. Participants will leave the program with a realistic view of the work force, a completed resume and practical work experience. A certificate of graduation in Restaurant Training is awarded to students who successfully complete each certificate program and show competency in all aspects of the practical training.
If you would like to participate in our training programs please call Pamela at 604-525-1204 ext 228.
