Aunt Leah's Independent Lifeskills Society is a registered charity that helps Vancouver youth leaving the foster care system, and young mothers in need, to learn the skills required to live on their own. It does this by providing housing, job training and coaching on basic life skills that many of us take for granted, like banking, personal health care, cleaning and shopping.
For foster children and young mothers, Aunt Leah's is like the mother, grandmother or aunt they never had.
