January 2010: ILFFY Workshops Overview

For the month of January, our ILFFY theme was Sexual Health and Wellness. We had a variety of presenters come to Aunt Leah’s and educate our youth about Safer Sex, Harm Reduction, and Sexually Transmitted Infections. A variety of materials including pamphlets, brochures, fact sheets, and business cards were made available to our youth from community resources that offer support and services with regards to Sexual Health. The highlight of the month was the Trivia Night hosted by YouthCo AIDS Society, which motivated our youth to demonstrate their knowledge on Sexual Health topics and allowed us to learn even more about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
