Aunt Leah’s Fundraisers

Aunt Leah’s holds a number of fundraising events throughout the year, including the Lonely Hearts Club Band Benefit Concert, our Christmas Tree Lots and the Kindness for Kids Initiative. These events are a great way to learn more about the amazing work that this society does for the Vancouver Community and what you can do to help.

Host Your Own Fundraiser for Aunt Leah’s

Another great way to get involved and raise funds for Aunt Leah’s Society is by hosting an event in Aunt Leah’s name. Many of us enjoy the holidays by spending time together and our hope is that the spirit of Aunt Leah’s can be a small part of your celebration. We believe that as a society we are in a time where people want to consume less and give back more.

Be creative and do what you enjoy. There are many ways you can turn your holiday party into a fundraiser: request donations instead of gifts, decorate your office Christmas tree with donations and pledges, organize contests or draws and collect proceeds to give as a donation, sell drinks, treats or crafts. Include your co-workers, friends and family. It’s all in support of a great cause and you’ll have fun doing it. Aunt Leah’s will provide information, donor forms and any resource material needed to highlight the work that we do for your fundraising event.

Are you thinking of hosting your own event? We would love to talk with you. Please call Karin at 604-525-1204 ext 224 or email her at kking@auntleahs.org.

Aunt Leah’s Independent Lifeskills Society

"Journey with youth
to self-sufficiency"

Aunt Leah's Independent Lifeskills Society helps foster children and mothers in need on their journey to self-sufficiency. We provide supported housing, job training, and coaching on the essential skills that many of us take for granted. Aunt Leah's prevents teens from becoming homeless and prevents young mothers from losing their children to foster care.
