On July 18, 2007 we celebrated our 19th birthday. Planning for next year’s 20th is beginning to happen. Many of the staff are contributing program ideas that will not only ensure an exciting celebration for next year but will provide a strategic plan to ensure that the “Great Aunt” has another 20 years.

One of the plans is to develop a Planned Giving Program for Aunt Leah’s. At the beginning of this year we set up a securities bank account and so far have received two donations. We hope to create an advisory committee, solicit the help of professionals in the financial field and hire an experienced staff who will be able to oversee this new Planned Giving Program. We would love your input. If you would either like to self-identify as a donor who has named Aunt Leah’s in your will or if you would like to offer your time and/or expertise to assist with the development of this program, Aunt Leah’s would be truly grateful.

Above you will see a preview of our Anniversary Logo created by our “resident artist” Theresa. We hope to incorporate the logo into all of our materials that promote our celebratory events throughout 2008.
