Program Director

Aunt Leah’s Society is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Position of Program Director. This is a temporary posting of one year to cover a maternity leave. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing 3 residential programs and two training programs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years experience in Social Services
- A degree or diploma in Leadership Management and/or Child & Youth Care/Social Work
- A minimum of two years experience in a Supervisory capacity
- Experience with database management
- Experience with program planning and implementation
Skills & Knowledge:
- Leadership skills
- Current knowledge of the non-profit sector
- Ability to oversee program budgets
- Excellent computer skills and report writing skills
- Conflict resolution and crisis management strategies
- Empathy & compassion toward people with multiple barriers

Relief Residential Family Support Worker

Aunt Leah’s Society is hiring for the position of Relief Residential Family Support Worker to do overnight shifts in a residence for teen mothers and their babies. Applicants must have post secondary education in the social service sector with a minimum of one-year experience providing support to moms and babies.
