Gale Stewart

Gale Stewart is the founder and Executive Director of Aunt Leah's Place. Gale has demonstrated commitment to her community, particularly marginalized youth, for over 30 years. Having been a foster parent herself, Gale knows where the gaps in service are and has worked on programs and services designed to fill those gaps. Great initiative enables her to pursue her vision: keeping Aunt Leah's a viable social service by creating business ventures to sustain the work of the society. Gale is a social change agent who believes in justice and in converting the thinking of those who misunderstand the issues of youth and women.

Sarah Stewart

Sarah is responsible for overseeing the operations of Aunt Leah's Programs, which include Support Link, Aunt Leah's House, Thresholds, the Training Programs, the Link and ILFFY (Independent Living for Families and Youth). Sarah has been working for Aunt Leah's since 1995. She started working for the organization as a support worker and assisted with Aunt Leah's training programs and Community Meal. As Program Director, and member of the Management Team, Sarah brings many years of history and experience to her present position.
